At its core, the Geriatric Chihuahua is a wildly dynamic MOSFET overdrive capable of everything from subtle “always-on” amp enhancement to enough gain to rip paint off the walls of your rehearsal space. Extended range coupling capacitors help remove compression and give notes room to breathe. Low gain settings deliver touch-sensitive warmth, harmonic richness, and amp-like breakup. Crank it up and the Chihuahua becomes feral — aggressive mids, snarling saturation, and enough signature attitude to replace your previous go-to drive option, or give your pedalboard a fresh perspective.

Then there’s the boost.

Engage it and the bark turns into a bite; tightening the low end, adding sustain, and launching your amp into levels of glorious chaos that will cause a Line 6 "Insane Channel" to blush! 

Need a touch-sensitive preamp feel? Easy.
Need enough saturation to summon demons from a EMG 81/85 setup through a Metal Zone flashback? Also easy, because the boost takes it from a constant bark to a nasty bite!

So, whether you need edge-of-breakup articulation or full-blown sonic destruction, the Geriatric Chihuahua is ready to misbehave. But the tone is only half the story...

Every weekly production batch is named after a real dog currently waiting for a forever home at a local shelter. Open your pedal and you’ll discover the name of the dog your batch was dedicated to. And yes — if you peek inside, you’ll see the evidence of real human hands building your pedal the old-fashioned way.
